Khandi Alexander

Khandi Alexander (born September 4, 1957) is an American dancer, choreographer, and film and television actress. She is perhaps best known for the roles of Dr. Alexx Woods on CSI: Miami and as Catherine Duke on NewsRadio. She also had a major recurring role on ER as Jackie Robbins, sister to Dr. Peter Benton. She is currently appearing in the HBO series Treme.

Christina Aguilera

Christina María Aguilera (born December 18, 1980) is an American recording artist and actress. Aguilera first appeared on national television in 1990 as a contestant on the Star Search program, and went on to star in Disney Channel’s television series The Mickey Mouse Club from 1993 to 1994. Aguilera signed to RCA Records after recording “Reflection”, the theme song for the animated film Mulan (1998).

Shohreh Aghdashloo

Shohreh Aghdashloo  Persian born May 11, 1952) is an Iranian American actress.

After establishing a theatre and film career in Iran, Aghdashloo moved to England during the Iranian Revolution in 1979, and subsequently became a citizen of the United States. After several years playing supporting roles in television and film, her performance in House of Sand and Fog (2003) brought her several film critics’ awards and a nomination for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. She has continued to play supporting and character roles in film and television and won an Emmy Award for her work in the television drama House of Saddam (2008).

Jane Adams (actress)

Jane Adams (born April 1, 1965) is an American film, television and theatre actress.

Jane Adams was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of Janice Adams, an administrative assistant, and William Adams, an engineer.  She has a younger brother, Jonathan, and was raised in Wheaton, Illinois and Bellevue, Washington. Adams attended the University of Washington, where she studied political science, and the Cornish College of the Arts, where she took theater. She attended the Juilliard School’s Drama Division (1985-1989, Group 18) where she graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in 1989.

Edie Adams

Edie Adams (April 16, 1927 – October 15, 2008) was an American singer, Broadway, television and film actress and comedienne. Adams, an Emmy and Tony Award winner, “both embodied and winked at the stereotypes of fetching chanteuse and sexpot blonde”.

She was well known for her impersonations of female stars on stage and television, most particularly, Marilyn Monroe. She was the wife and frequent television partner of Ernie Kovacs until his death in a 1962 car accident.

Amy Lou Adams (born August 20, 1974) is an American actress and singer. Adams was born in Vicenza, Italy to American parents, and began her performing career on stage in dinner theaters, before making her screen debut in the 1999 black comedy film Drop Dead Gorgeous. After a series of television guest appearances and roles in B movies, she was cast in the role of Brenda Strong in 2002’s Catch Me If You Can, but her breakthrough role was in the 2005 independent film Junebug, playing Ashley Johnsten, for which she received critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress.

Candice Accola (born May 13, 1987) is an American actress and singer, best known for her role as Caroline Forbes on The Vampire Diaries.

Accola was born in Houston, Texas but she grew up in Edgewood, Florida and attended Lake Highland Preparatory School. Her father, Kevin, is a cardiothoracic surgeon and her mother, Carolyn, was formerly an environmental engineer before becoming a homemaker. Both her parents are active members of the local Republican political party. She has one younger brother.
